The UK Space Agency has teamed up with the Nottingham Geospatial Institute to run hands-on educational sessions based at the European Space Expo. Each session is open to approximately 25 students aged 14 - 16 years. As well as experiencing the educational interactive displays within the dome, students will have the opportunity to use GPS technology in and around St James' Park to learn more about space.

This will be a fantastic hands-on opportunity to show your students how geography, science, mathematics and technology can be used to develop technologies that benefit many aspects of daily life including predicting the weather, using a SatNav or controlling traffic.
These sessions will run from 03 - 07 December 2012, with 3 x 2 hour sessions per day:

9.00 -11.00
11.00 – 13.00
13.00 – 15.00

The sessions are free to attend.
