ESERO-UK Space Education Day - Speaker Presentations now available online

On Tuesday 5 July 2011 ESERO-UK hosted a dedicated space education day for primary and secondary teachers at the inaugural UK Space Conference at the University of Warwick.

Over 100 teachers attended a day packed full of inspiring keynote presentations from speakers such as Lucie Green and Professor David Cullen covering topics ranging from the 'hunt for alien life' to 'living in the Sun's atmosphere'. The day also included a number of engaging, interactive workshops covering topics including careers, space experiments to run in school and a showcase of the Faulkes Telescope and the National Schools Observatory, and much more besides. A dedicated student outreach day featuring exciting experiments and demonstrations for Year 6 and Year 7 students was also run concurrently by Space Connections.
