UK Space Conference

The UK Space Conference 2011 will help grow the UK’s economic, environmental, social and science interests from space through encouraging interaction between key players in government, industry and the research community.

The aim of the conference is to enable dialogue and exchange information between Government, industry, and the research community, and highlight the connections between the space sector and other sectors in the UK economy.

ESERO-UK is also organising a dedicated education day during the conference on the 5th July, specifically designed for primary and secondary teachers, the day will include a plethora of exciting space-related workshops, including a plenary lecture from the acclaimed Dr. Lucie Green; a solar researcher based at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory at University College, London. You will also engage with inspirational speakers, discuss the role of space in education and take away important contacts of space education providers in your region.

It is free for teachers to attend and you can book your place on the UK space education day by returning the online booking form (click 'ok' or 'open'when prompted to do so) to ESERO-UK: enquiries@nationalstemcentre.org.uk.
