European Space Camp

Nationwide

24. 06. 12 - 01. 07. 12

European Space Camp enables students between the ages of 17 and 20 to take control of every aspect of a rocket campaign, including circuit making, telemetry and of course the launch itself, under the supervision of some of Europe's best rocket scientists.

The camp lasts one week at the Andøya Rocket Range in Norway, the northernmost launch facility in the world. Participants are also privileged enough to listen to lectures on topics ranging from Rocket Physics to the Northern Lights from some of Europe's best scientists.

At European Space Camp, you'll find some of the most intelligent and interesting students from around the world, united by the common passion of science and space.

Each year there is a good blend of Norwegian and foreign students, boys and girls, aiming to foster an environment in which participants can collaborate and learn from one another whilst having fun at the same time.

Applicants should be fluent in English and have a passion for Space and Rocket Physics. A strong grasp of Mathematics and Physics is highly desirable. Applications must be received by 1 April 2012.

All seats at European Space Camp are funded either by ESC sponsors, or by collaborating scholarship organisations.
