British Astronomical Association 'Back to Basics' beginners' meeting

Following on from the great success of the British Astronomical Association (BAA) 'Back to Basics' beginners' meeting in Macclesfield in March, the autumn event heads south to Cheltenham and the Cotswold Astronomical Society on 1 October.
Kicking off at 10am at the Shurdington Social Centre, Shurdington, the day will feature a range of talks in the morning followed by an afternoon of practical workshops, all geared around helping the beginner really get started.
The price for the day is £8 for BAA members, and £10 for non-members, including refreshments and a buffet lunch.
